People often seek outside help wanting to get rid of unwanted feelings and various “symptoms.” A lot of these “symptoms” are not so much problems to be patched up as they are invitations to see what needs to be attended to. Personal growth, whether trough self-healing, books, coaching, or therapy is not about fixing ourselves. It’s about unlearning what no longer supports us, returning to our own knowing, accepting our imperfect humanity, and becoming more of our true, authentic self. It is about discovering who we are when not guided by past conditioning and adaptations that were once helpful. As adults we are continuously pulled and called towards fulfillment, curiosity, creativity, and meaning.
