We all have an innate wisdom and capacity to live beyond merely surviving and alleviating pain. Oftentimes we need just one person to recognize something in us or to believe in us when we struggle to see our own greatness that's ready to be woken up.
ABOUT ME
Hi, my name is Sladja!

I know, that name just rolls of the tongue:)
Here's a condensed version of my background story... I grew up in a small village in Serbia (former Yugoslavia) and lived there until I was 26. That's when I made a big leap and moved to the U.S.
For me, this wasn't a deliberate decision where I weighed pros and cons and had a clear plan of how things would go. Actually, it didn't even feel like a choice, rather, it felt as something I had to do - I had nothing to lose.
For a long time it bothered me that my life had a different trajectory.
While my friends were in college and had their paths all figured out, I was working as a waitress. I was envious of them, but felt stuck in a dead-end job, broke, and feeling like I was wasting my life away. But I knew that envy was telling me that I too, wanted more from life.
Through the journey of healing my own wounds and dealing with personal struggles, I became interested in the higher range of human potential and consumed inspirational, psychology, and personal development books. That's how my dream of becoming a therapist was born.
Fast forward some years, ups and downs, victories and losses, life unfolded in the best possible way. It turned out that each chapter of my life had its lessons and there is no one script that we all need to follow.

The truth is, you are not going to wake up one day in a different life, in a different body, and with a different past, but in this one life you have, you can live on your own terms.
