About Me
Hi, my name is Sladja!
I know, that name just rolls of the tongue:)
Here's a short version of my story... I grew up in a small, sleepy village in Serbia (former Yugoslavia) where I never truly felt a sense of belonging and ease.
I've always dreamed of living in a big city and having an adventurous, successful life, and I knew that if I wanted a different life, it was me who had to go out of my bubble and create it.
I decided to follow my curiosity and went to work on a cruise ship. It was the first time I left my country and experienced life outside of Serbia. This experience felt like waking up to a new life and opportunities I never knew were possible for someone like me.
After working on a cruise ship for a few years, I had a similar nagging feeling I've experienced in the past, telling me it's time for a new chapter. I made a big leap and moved to the U.S., fulfilling a long desired dream that was growing over the course of the years.
I decided to go back to school and finish my Bachelor's and Master's degree and become a therapist.
Fast forward some years, ups and downs, victories and losses, life unfolded in the best possible way. It turned out that each chapter of my life had its lessons and there is no one script that we all need to follow... as long as we live in integrity with who we are. My hope is that you too will bet on yourself and follow the excitement of your heart's desire.
