![]() We don't fully create our future on our own. We are co-creators. There’s a part of our life that’s out of our hands. The part we have no control over. But we can take the part that’s in our hands and do the best we can with it. The way you can predict your future is by observing how, where, and with whom you spend your time today. Your future is a direct response to the thoughts you feed and actions you take today. So even though we are co-creating, it’s not completely true that we can’t predict our future. For example… By observing your thoughts and the way you talk to yourself, you can predict how you will fee. By noticing how you feel, you can predict what actions you will take. Depending on actions you take, you can predict what kind of reality you will create. Take a moment to consider:
We grow and change by overcoming our fears, not by avoiding them.
Think of all the firsts that were uncomfortable and scary at the beginning, but now they come as a second nature. Avoiding fear and discomfort will keep you in the same place - standing still and wondering ‘what if?’ Strength and resilience are built in discomfort, but how you choose to support yourself through that discomfort matters. Are you using judgment and criticism to get through it or are you talking yourself up through it? ![]() Each new day is bringing us a choice: to do the things we’ve always done (and if that works-keep doing more of that)… or to do something differently. It’s not sufficient to make this choice one time and expect that now we will be a different person. Change happens in cycles. It’s necessary to keep reminding ourselves who we want to be and who we no longer want to be. Who do I no longer want to be? I heard this question being asked by Joe Dispenza on a podcast and used it as a journaling prompt this morning. Hope you find it as powerful as I did. Happy Journaling. ![]() If you don’t practice receiving, envisioning, and embodying what you most desire, a part of you will keep resisting it, and it will always be something you’re chasing. Your body has to learn what it feels like to be more relaxed, alive, energized, confident, joyful, playful, creative… Deliberate practice is a huge part of turning insights and knowledge into action. The more you bring yourself to these states intentionally, the faster they will become habitual ways of being. Practice being the person you are called to be. Intentionally give rise to the experiences you want to welcome. |
