I feel so giddy just writing this. I feel like a desire that’s been calling me for a while is finally being put in motion. I am finally putting it in motion!
Whether though my daily journaling or blog posts that I share here on my website, writing has been a major vessels for self-expression and self-understanding. It’s just something I have to do, regardless of whether I’m objectively good at it.
But recently I’ve been feeling a strong pull to share more personal experiences. This idea has been marinading in my mind for some time as I’ve negotiated different parts of it: Will this work? What does it mean for it to work? What if I say something too
My intention for Inner Voice is to be a space where I share unfiltered personal musings, reflections, insights, and life lessons.
This step for me feels big and bold. The biggest fear that was stopping me was: “What if I say something but later change my mind?” But I realized that as long as I grow and change, I will change my mind on things I felt certian about in the past. It’s healthy to change my mind. Different things feel brave for different people, and for me, brave means sharing my thoughts and personal experiences knowing they might be misinterpreted or judged. It means being willing to say something knowing I might change my mind down the road as I learn more information and as I change.
