COACHING FOR NEW & FUTURE THERAPISTS
You might feel overwhelmed and confused, realizing there is so much you didn't learn in graduate school. Impostor syndrome is kicking in as you come closer to graduating and venturing out on your own.
Maybe the path you envisioned for yourself seems unreachable or you keep being discouraged from what you truly want.
Maybe the path you envisioned for yourself seems unreachable or you keep being discouraged from what you truly want.
I can provide you guidance, support, or clarity around...
Although I always knew I wanted to work in a private practice, I looked to other, more seasoned clinicians for support and encouragement.
In most cases, all I was left with was advice to "pay my dues" by taking on jobs that did not align with my vision. I struggled to trust myself and felt guilty for not taking on their advice, but ultimately I decided to follow my path. If you have more questions than answers, I can help. During my graduate studies, one thing I always felt missing on my journey to becoming a therapist was having a mentor and a trusted guide I can reach out to when unsure. This left me spending a lot of my time outside of school listening to podcasts, reading books, taking marketing courses, and meeting with other professionals in the field. Having recently been through the unique struggles new and upcoming therapists face, I understand the overwhelm that comes with it and I would love to share with you all the things that I learned that helped me on my journey. |
