HYPNOTHERAPY
Most of us have heard of hypnosis and perhaps have an idea of what it entails. Unfortunately, most of those ideas are incorrect and misleading because they are based on what we see in media or as part of entertainment.
Hypnotherapy (or clinical hypnosis) is a technique that facilitates the work with our subconscious mind. This is where our scripts and beliefs about ourselves are stored. Our lives are a reflection of our internalized beliefs, and during hypnosis, we bypass the critical thinking (ego) and can directly access the subconscious to wake up the strengths and natural abilities we have within us.

For those who are willing to do the deep work, hypnosis can improve the effectiveness of therapy through enhancing an individual's strength and capacities they already have. With that being said, hypnosis is not a magic wand and cannot create something that does not inherently already exist within the person on the subconscious level. Before utilizing hypnosis in our work together, we will discuss its appropriateness for your specific needs and we'll collaborate to address your desired outcomes. |
